The Building Game
We are currently working on a pilot episode. Akin to Auf Wiedersehen Pet and with the down-to-earth humour of Phoenix Nights, our shows appeal is in its people. Set amongst the everyday life and characters of the Brady & Brady Builders yard, the series centres on the firm's new plumber, Damien Kenny.
The series is set in a Widnes builder's yard and has Damien 
juggling his new job, a night-school cookery class and his new work-mates practical jokes. The firm's office manager Jenny Brady has her eye (and hands) on him and his new boss, Ron Brady, is intent on making him work for every single penny.
We know the characters in The Building Game exist and we know many people will recognize them (in parts) as people they have met. The series is not about high-concept set-ups, it is about people and that's what makes it funny.
